Leopards, Tigers and Trains

We went to the Zoo today and Bella wanted to ride the train and the carousel. All the times we have gone she has not wanted to do either but all she could talk about on the way there was the "choo choo twain"..we rode around in a circle four times on the train (got my money's worth out of my season pass!  lol).
Riding on the Zoo train for the first time!

The carousel was an experience she wanted over quickly!  She picked the tiger to ride and after wiping it all down with sanitizer wipes she climbed on board...one trip around and she decided she was "done"...but she made it around about three times....we were the only ones on so he stopped it early for us.

After the rides we headed to the chimps...who were all in fine form...she thought one waved at her so THAT was pretty cool!  ;)

The snow leopard cub, Niko, decided she was going to be his entertainment.  Ignoring everyone else he stalked, jumped and played through the glass with her.  She was quite the popular little girl!

Her American Girl doll arrived this week...she was so excited when the box came in, but she thought it was her medicine. Bless her heart...she gets excited over new medicine!  Love that little girl!

This week was also CF Clinic week.  Her weight hasn't changed in 3 months so they have increased her Creon (digestive enzymes) to help her absorb the nutrients better from what she is eating. Thank goodness she hadn't lost any weight, but they always want to weigh on the side of caution and be ahead of the game with her...so an increase it is! Her lungs were clear and her BMI is at 92%! 29.9 pounds and 33.66 inches tall.   She goes  back next month for a re-check.

She is such a joy to be around...and I cherish every single moment I have with her.  I can't thank her Mommy and Daddy enough for sharing their precious gift with us.
