Throw-Back 2011-2013.

I decided to throw together some pictures I found of Bella and me....these were taken prior to my weekly commitment of posting a picture with her.  I can't believe that it is a full year that I have been doing this. It also makes me realize how fast Bella is growing up!  She is soon going to be 2 1/2 years old!! My beautiful grand baby is quickly turning into a beautiful, adventurous little girl.  I love her so much!

Everyone home for Christmas...everyone healthy...a perfect Christmas.

"I go home now please, Grammy!"  Santa wasn't her thing this year...but that's okay!

Thank you all for following "B'n Me" this past year...it's hard to believe the year is almost over. Where did 2013 go?!  I can't wait to see where 2014 will take us and what new things "B 'n Me Part 2" will share!

I asked her where the year had gone...she said "back dere?" (back there?) Silly goose! But she could be right...it's just back dere!

"Just one second..."

"Just one second"...Bella started saying it a few days ago..usually in response to when she is asked a question, or asked to do something..."just one second" usually putting up her hand to hold us off.  At first I thought it was sort of cute..then began thinking why she was saying it and it occurred to me that it's because of what she hears...from me, from all of us at some point.  Nowadays all of us have cell phones, computers, gizmos and gadgets...and when she asks us a question or needs something what does she sometimes hear in response? Yep..."just one second" as texts are answered, emails checked, etc. It brings to mind the song "Cat's In the Cradle"...and she is growing up just like us. She picks up things very quickly!

So today I made a firm resolution that she isn't going to hear "just one second" from me anymore...today was all about hide and go seek, dancing like maniacs in front of the blank TV screen because she could see herself  (I either need to exercise more or learn self-applied CPR!), it was picnic breakfast in the pantry, picnic lunch as we colored on the dining room floor, it was singing at the top of our lungs, it was wrapping up in a huge blanket so we could sneak outside to put seed out for the birds and "crazy squirrels" (her name for them), and "doe a durs a female durs".  It was about listening to her (like yesterday when she was telling me EVERYTHING that was going on around her) and what she was trying to say or ask. (the recording has made her laugh even more today!) Why??...because she asked and because it was important to her .....and because life is just too darn short to put important things off for "just one second".

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!

Christmas is quickly approaching. Bella is more aware of Santa Claus this year so when you ask her who brings toys to good girls and boys she will say Santa Claus. I think she is going to have a blast this Christmas!

She is still struggling with her chest congestion, runny nose and low grade fever...hopefully a clinic appointment tomorrow will give us some answers. Her breathing was so raspy.  We did a couple extra albuteral treatments today along with some extra manual CPT to try to clear her breathing. Even when she is congested she never slows down!

Singing and rearranging decorations were among the activities today! She decided to open all the empty decorative boxes under the Library tree.. "Bellya get 'nother box, K?K?"

It's been bitterly cold outside so Bella has had to remain indoors so we have had lots of fun coloring, playing games and just being silly!  I wish we could keep her in clothes!  She loves stripping down to her diaper no matter what the weather is outside!

Baby it's Cold Outside!

Brrrrrrrrrr!  It's cold outside! Sleet and snow have arrived.  18 degrees right now and the snow continues to fall.  I don't like this kind of weather...but it's pretty!

Bella and I watched some video's of snow and I think she is actually excited about snow coming in but she isn't a fan of cold weather, either.  She put her hands on the windows and came running over to me to have me feel her "cold hands, Grammy!!! Bellya hands cold!" and would put them on my face and then would do her "cold" sign language and then run back to the windows to do it again! Jess and Bryan are home today...so they will get to feel those "Cold"  little hands!   Enjoy them guys...they don't stay little hands for long.

Bella has another stuffy/runny nose and is having a hard time breathing at night. Not good. We all hate it when she gets this way.  No fever...so that is good.  Mommy will keep me posted on her today.

I owe Mommy and Daddy an apology..sometimes Bella and I talk baby/Bella gibberish ... googooblabla...moomoo? tootoo?? .etc..(we giggle and of course understand exactly what we are saying! LOL!!)  Jessica mentioned that Bella rattled off a complete conversation the other day and she couldn't understand a single word she said..... OOPS!!!

Walking Dead!

What a great Thanksgiving!  Friends and family and lots of good food! And a Walking Dead marathon!  Bella loves "walking dead...walking dead again, pleeze!"  She has to have her eyes covered a lot, but then so does Grammy! LOL! She cracks me ups! She wandered around with her bow shooting zombies...which I'm glad she was shooting zombies and not me!

We have lots to do before Christmas..projects, shopping, wrapping..she had so much fun decorating and Thanksgiving pie baking and think she is really going to love Christmas!

I won't see her until Wednesday..I sure miss her when I don't see her for almost a week. Just might have to squeeze a Grammy visit in before then!

Holiday's !!

Christmas decorations went up around our house and Bella has had a blast. She does like rearranging a few things, but she helped me decorate and she loves showing everyone the "way high" angel on the tree!

We also played around with curlers and discovered her hair curls great!!   

It's been a great week.  Bella's sniffles are getting better..she still has a bit of a cough (which we don't like) but she seems to be doing great.  Thanksgiving is next week and we will be baking lots of goodies on Wednesday!

Sniffles and Stuffy Nose

Bella and Mommy had the week together (vacation time) so I snagged a quick picture from my Monday time with her and a picture from last week!   Bella is running a low grade temperature (99 - 100) and stuffy nose again. So the "worry" mode has kicked into over drive again. Mommy is taking extra special care of her (as always!)  Love you little Precious.  I hope you start feeling better soon. Grammy will come see you today! 

Sometimes Plans Change!

Sometimes plans change...Bella and I were going to try to hit the Zoo but unfortunately things didn't work out...so we made a HUGE tent in Mommy/Daddy's living room and hid from the electricians and painters!  We played pirates, colored pictures, crawled in and out of the tent, had a picnic in the tent, danced, had to be "sleeping princesses" , played "spy", and had a blast! I know she was disappointed about not getting to ride the train and not getting to see the animals but I told her we would try again another time.    I think she forgave me when she got a chocolate shake after dinner! ;)

Bella does "sleeping princess" much better then I do...I giggle too much. She "Shushed" me once when I wouldn't stop giggling!

Halloween!

Halloween is this week...Bella will probably be our one and only "trick or treater"! (We actually had 4!!)

Pumpkins, Zombies and more!

What a week!  We had a fabulous time in San Francisco...it is always a great when I get to see Danny!

Bella painted her Halloween pumpkins and also decided to be a zombie!  She cracks me up some times!!

We had so much fun painting and playing...the weather was perfect for being outdoors and she loved being able to run around like a zombie!

While she painted pumpkins she painted a few other things as well!

Suitcases

Tony and I are heading to San Francisco tomorrow with our BFF's.  Danny is flying up from LA to be with us. I can't wait to see him!

I picked up a new smaller suitcase this morning and took it (and our already packed huge suitcase) over to the kids house so I could re-pack into the smaller. Bella instantly decided that she could fit inside the big one and that she was going to spend the majority of her day in it!  She ate breakfast in it, she ate lunch in it, she watched her movie in it, she did her CPT in it, she did her breathing treatment in it, she ate a snack in it, she turned it onto it's side and tried to take a nap in it! She went for rides (over and over) all around the house...she said she was going on "bacation see DanDan".

Yep...suitcases can be fun!

 After her nap (and she actually took her nap in Mommy and Daddy's bed) we headed outside for a little fresh air.

Wedding and Stuff!

Jo and Aaron's wedding was a beautiful success!  Bella was such a cute flower girl. She and Gracie did so good.  She is still showing everyone how she "frew fowers JoJo wuddin'!

The weather was perfect this week so Bella and I hit the Zoo and TASM .  We keep hoping the MD80 exhibit will be open. Bella wants to go on the " big apane" so bad! She even asked the gentleman at the front desk about it.  Unfortunately it won't be open until next year...but that won't stop us from going.  She loves that place! We even went back the next day and took Daddy with us!  The Sand Cat came out to see her at the Zoo. She loves the kitties!

On a side note...I actually sent off some of my photos to be printed up professionally instead of by me. That sure makes a big difference in how they look! I've always just printed them myself or sent them off for a book creation, but I've never really liked the quality of any of them. I sure like the ones that they printed up for me!

"Frowing Fowers"

I can't believe that Jo is getting married tomorrow! Where have the last 21 (almost 22) years gone!

Bella is going to be her flower girl along with Gracie.  We had the rehearsal tonight...Bella did so good walking and stopping and throwing flowers.  She looked so cute walking with Gracie. The two of them are going to be adorable tomorrow night in their dresses!  All Bella could do was talk about Gracie coming over and how they were going to "Frow fowers JoJo wuddin".  We will keep our fingers crossed that the weather holds up and that Bella doesn't get cold feet when she has to walk out in front of all those people!

She saw a "monster" at the store...Halloween display...she loved it!  Wanted to see it again....so now when we go shopping she wants to see more "monsters".  Silly little goose!

I think we have found another snack Miss B likes....Cool Ranch Doritos!!  Sorry, Bryan! lol

We picked up a Snow White dress today...needless to say she didn't want to take it off! She kept singing...."I'm wishing, I'm wishing...for da one I wub".

Some days are just plain poopie!

Another rough week for the Precious.  I think we finally might have her issues taken care of.  Bless her heart she has been living on Miralax three times a day and Thursday we finally got results and a maintenance routine after next week.  She had to call Mommy, Daddy, DanDan and MeMe to tell them all about it. She wanted to call her Aunt Jill but we didn't have her number (and we weren't too sure how her new job would be about getting that type of phone call!!)  No hellos, no hi's..her conversation with each began with "I POOP! Fibe times!!"   Love you little one...maybe now things will be back to normal for you.  CF sucks!!!

I picked up a "Doc McStuffin" medical bag for her....now everything and everyone has been checked out.  We've all been given the "thumbs up" on our pressure and lungs and heart....of course everyone needs shots but I think we will all be "okay".  

We found a new food that she seems to enjoy...salami!  I don't know how long she will like it, but we will take advantage of finding a new food that she likes!  

Bella has enjoyed her new play room...she loves looking at the shower in the bathroom and tells me "Baby DanDan take shoowers! Oh...baby DanDan!!"  All I did was tell her that the tub/shower is where he showers when he is home...and all of a sudden it's "Baby DanDan" this and "Baby DanDan" that...and of course the monkey he had has become "Baby DanDan's BoBo monkey"...sometimes understanding the logic of a 2 year old is difficult!! LOL.  

We went to see Great Grandma Betty today...Bella sang and danced for her..."Doe a dur"...she loves those "dur"!   

Billings next week so I won't see the Precious until Thursday...hate those long breaks!
