Some days are just plain poopie!

Another rough week for the Precious.  I think we finally might have her issues taken care of.  Bless her heart she has been living on Miralax three times a day and Thursday we finally got results and a maintenance routine after next week.  She had to call Mommy, Daddy, DanDan and MeMe to tell them all about it. She wanted to call her Aunt Jill but we didn't have her number (and we weren't too sure how her new job would be about getting that type of phone call!!)  No hellos, no hi's..her conversation with each began with "I POOP! Fibe times!!"   Love you little one...maybe now things will be back to normal for you.  CF sucks!!!

I picked up a "Doc McStuffin" medical bag for her....now everything and everyone has been checked out.  We've all been given the "thumbs up" on our pressure and lungs and heart....of course everyone needs shots but I think we will all be "okay".

We found a new food that she seems to enjoy...salami!  I don't know how long she will like it, but we will take advantage of finding a new food that she likes!

Bella has enjoyed her new play room...she loves looking at the shower in the bathroom and tells me "Baby DanDan take shoowers! Oh...baby DanDan!!"  All I did was tell her that the tub/shower is where he showers when he is home...and all of a sudden it's "Baby DanDan" this and "Baby DanDan" that...and of course the monkey he had has become "Baby DanDan's BoBo monkey"...sometimes understanding the logic of a 2 year old is difficult!! LOL.

We went to see Great Grandma Betty today...Bella sang and danced for her..."Doe a dur"...she loves those "dur"!

Billings next week so I won't see the Precious until Thursday...hate those long breaks!

Love you Little B.
"Open up and say 'awe', Grammy!"

Just hanging out...waiting for her to feel better.

Just a little duet..."how do you solve a problem like Maria??"  She does love her musicals!

New "Hones"!

My phone died so Bella went with me today to get a new one.  Of course she had to explain everything to the guys at Sprint...that "Gummy hone dead"!  We all got a laugh out of it. She let them know that "Gummy need new hone".  They gave her an old used phone and she thought that was pretty special! So now I am updated with my new Gallaxy4S...just need to figure it out!  LOL!

Sometimes sharing black olives can be the best fun!
We also were a little concerned about Miss B this past week.  CF'rs have difficulty with food absorption and can have intestinal blockages...Miss B was having some difficulties along that line and we had to start her on Miralax...thank goodness the Miralax worked to get things moving through her. She was happy to be able to go without her "bobo hurt".  We were glad that it seems to have remedied the situation!
Being silly!! (And trying out my new phone!)

Leopards, Tigers and Trains

We went to the Zoo today and Bella wanted to ride the train and the carousel. All the times we have gone she has not wanted to do either but all she could talk about on the way there was the "choo choo twain"..we rode around in a circle four times on the train (got my money's worth out of my season pass!  lol).
Riding on the Zoo train for the first time!

The carousel was an experience she wanted over quickly!  She picked the tiger to ride and after wiping it all down with sanitizer wipes she climbed on board...one trip around and she decided she was "done"...but she made it around about three times....we were the only ones on so he stopped it early for us.

After the rides we headed to the chimps...who were all in fine form...she thought one waved at her so THAT was pretty cool!  ;)

The snow leopard cub, Niko, decided she was going to be his entertainment.  Ignoring everyone else he stalked, jumped and played through the glass with her.  She was quite the popular little girl!

Her American Girl doll arrived this week...she was so excited when the box came in, but she thought it was her medicine. Bless her heart...she gets excited over new medicine!  Love that little girl!

This week was also CF Clinic week.  Her weight hasn't changed in 3 months so they have increased her Creon (digestive enzymes) to help her absorb the nutrients better from what she is eating. Thank goodness she hadn't lost any weight, but they always want to weigh on the side of caution and be ahead of the game with her...so an increase it is! Her lungs were clear and her BMI is at 92%! 29.9 pounds and 33.66 inches tall.   She goes  back next month for a re-check.

She is such a joy to be around...and I cherish every single moment I have with her.  I can't thank her Mommy and Daddy enough for sharing their precious gift with us.

Happy Birthday, Danny!

Today is Danny's birthday!  I can't believe my baby is 32!  Time goes by so fast!  Happy Birthday, Danny!  Love you to the Moon and back!

Bella sang "Happy Birthday" to Danny on FaceTime today. She also wanted to be sure he wasn't really a wolf! He assured her it was only on video!

She was very excited that he opened his present from her on FaceTime and she got to see him wearing it!  She also has really gotten into singing songs from "Sound of Music".

Loves her yellow popsicle!
Every day she seems to change. She does her vest CPT like a champ! She loves to have books read to her...we just picked up 8 new ones today! Her vocabulary is growing and she sometimes goes off on lengthy descriptive sentences about what I have NO idea!! LOL!!!  But she is adamant about it and will repeat the entire monologue until some part of it is understood...the look on her face when you understand what the heck she was trying to tell you is priceless....sort of a "finally!!" look.  She is very patient with me!
Just hanging out!

Tonight she and Papa and I went to dinner at Chili's. She loves their chips and salsa and consumed a bowl all by herself.  They sent extra chips and salsa home with her!
